If you don't want to receive email from a company, DON'T FILL OUT THEIR FORM! If that means you won't get their 'freebie,' then so be it! But DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT 'SPAM' EMAILS FROM PEOPLE THAT YOU GAVE PERMISSION TO SEND YOU EMAIL IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Spam is UNSOLICITED email, which means the sender never got permission from you to send you email. It's how they get the money to PAY the developers who create the software that they sometimes give away at no charge! #38 - '.register for spam' is a contradiction in terms! You should realize that any time you fill out a form on a web page that asks for your email address, you're going to receive email from whoever owns that form, and you can be certain that they're going to try to SELL you something! That's what companies DO.
